Pastor Tim and Steph Roddick

After serving for a number of years as a volunteer both within the local church and Youth for Christ in London, ON, Pastor Tim answered the call to full-time pastoral ministry in 1999. He and his wife Stephanie later moved to the Ottawa Valley in 2008, after Tim felt led to answer a further call to serve at Calvary Baptist Church in Pembroke. Over time, the Roddicks increasingly developed a heart to minister more specifically to the expanding population of nearby Petawawa. With the blessing of the Calvary church family and the Central Region of the Fellowship of Evangelical Baptist Churches of Canada, Trailhead Baptist Church was launched, and began to meet weekly for worship in November of 2015.

Pastor Tim is passionate about teaching directly from God’s Word; his preference to lead the church family through a series of weekly messages covering entire books of the bible. Having already studied in the area of Cartooning and Graphic Arts, completing a Bachelor of Religious Education,  and Master of Divinity, before finishing an additional Graduate Certificate of Biblical Preaching; Tim recognizes the importance of lifelong learning, and is presently working towards a post-graduate Master of Theology research degree as well.

Tim and Stephanie have two young-adult children, and additionally share their home with a pair of orange cats and a recently rescued dog; the three of them sometimes getting along, and sometimes not.
