FAQs

Where do you meet?

The Trailhead Baptist Church family meets weekly, Sunday mornings, 10:30 am at Valour School (19 Leeder Lane, Petawawa). We hold our worship service in the school gym, with a supervised classroom for infants and toddlers across the hall; partway through the morning, children in JK through grade 4 are dismissed from the gym, and invited to enjoy our Trailhead Kids' program in the school cafeteria.

What should I expect on Sunday morning?

Recognizing that Trailhead Baptist Church gathers in Petawawa, some people ask if Trailhead is a 'military church' - - and while a great number of our church family do serve in the Canadian Armed Forces, we are first and foremost a 'family-friendly church' and it is not uncommon for there to be just as many children in attendance as there are adults. At 10 am, we have refreshments available for families to enjoy in the cafeteria together prior to worship; and in our worship service we enjoy a time of celebratory praise led by a live band, followed by a time of gospel-focused teaching using the Bible as our guiding text. Our worship service begins at 10:30 am, and typically concludes prior to 11:45 am.

What should i wear?

There is no dress code at Trailhead - - so please, come as you are, and expect to see more t-shirts and sneakers, than jackets and ties.
